Imaging Physicist

The Imaging Physicist will develop, implement, and test multi-modality imaging protocols associated with Biospective’s studies and define guidelines for Clinical Imaging Site Qualifications.
This position has the following responsibilities:
- Develop and harmonize MRI, PET, and SPECT imaging protocols and participate in the monitoring of site’s adherence to imaging protocols.
- Develop and code review image metadata interpretation and format conversion.
- Participate in image processing & analysis for client-sponsored and R&D studies.
- Participate in imaging site documentation, training, troubleshooting and data query resolution.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, documentation and validation of software tools to improve and advance Biospective’s software platforms.
- Participate in the development of study proposals.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of Biospective’s Quality Management System (QMS), including the generation of new, and modification of existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Skills and Requirements
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physics, Medical Physics, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of MRI, PET, and SPECT physics and imaging protocol design.
- 2+ years of related experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, without immediate supervision, and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated flexibility to deal with changing priorities and multiple tasks.
- Optionally fully remote within Canada.
